Kehua Digital Energy is the clean-energy business of Kehua, a Chinese power-electronics technology group whose industry experience dates back to 1988. Based in Xiamen, the company develops photovoltaic, energy storage, microgrid and integrated energy solutions for residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale applications. Its photovoltaic portfolio includes residential and C&I string inverters together with central inverter solutions for large-scale power plants. In energy storage, Kehua provides residential all-in-one systems, C&I battery energy storage cabinets, modular and centralised PCS platforms, grid-forming technologies, containerised battery systems and turnkey solutions integrating PCS equipment with medium-voltage transformers. Utility-scale energy storage is a major part of Kehua’s business. Its PCS portfolio covers systems ranging from distributed applications to multi-megawatt grid-scale configurations. The company has supplied equipment and integrated solutions for renewable integration, frequency regulation, peak shifting, microgrids, weak-grid operation and standalone BESS projects. Its grid-forming platforms support functions including virtual synchronous generation, black start, inertia response and operation in challenging grid environments. For commercial and industrial users, Kehua offers modular PCS products and liquid-cooled all-in-one storage systems that combine batteries, power conversion, thermal management, fire protection and intelligent controls. Its residential iStoragE range combines hybrid inverters, modular battery packs and home energy management for solar self-consumption, backup power and reduced grid dependence. According to the company, Kehua had exceeded 68 GW of cumulative global photovoltaic installations and 53 GW of energy storage deployments by the end of 2025. It operates six manufacturing bases with approximately 416,000 square metres of manufacturing space and maintains more than 80 service outlets across China and international markets. Research and development remains central to Kehua’s business. The company reports approximately 2,200 engineers, more than 2,500 patents and software copyrights, and participation in hundreds of national and industry standards. Its global sales and service network covers Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, supporting projects in more than 100 countries and regions.
