Agreement and Operator

These Terms form an agreement between you and Shenzhen Solar Storage Planet Technology Services Co., Ltd. (“ENERGY PLANET”, “we”, “us”) concerning your access to or use of the ENERGY PLANET website, accounts, company directory, content, events and related services. Our address is RRM 421, No. 6 Guangke 1st Road, Longtian Sub-district, Pingshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China; contact: service@energyplanet.global. By registering, submitting content, registering for an event, or continuing to use the Services, you acknowledge these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you act for an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy are available through the site-wide footer and registration page.

2. Scope of Services

• Industry news, research, product and project content;
• User accounts, third-party sign-in and personalised features;
• A company directory and requests to claim, correct or remove company pages;
• Articles, comments, images, files and other user content;
• Newsletters, webinars, offline events and related registration;
• Advertising, partner content and possible future membership or commercial services;
• AI-assisted translation features.
• We may add, modify, suspend or discontinue features and will provide reasonable notice where required by law or where changes materially affect users.

3. Eligibility and Minors

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Minors may use the Services only where applicable legal and parental-consent requirements are met. Users under 16, or under a higher age required locally, must register and provide personal data with parental or guardian consent and supervision. For users in China under 14, we will process personal information only with separate guardian consent and under dedicated protection rules. Until a verifiable parental-consent process is implemented, we may restrict users under 16 from registering, submitting content, enrolling in events or using personalised features.

4. Accounts and Security

• Provide accurate, complete and current information;
• Protect login credentials, one-time codes and third-party sign-in accounts;
• Do not share, sell, impersonate or transfer accounts without authorisation;
• Contact us promptly about unauthorised use or security incidents.
• Users may sign in by email or a supported third-party account. ENERGY PLANET does not directly store user passwords; authentication credentials may be processed by the relevant identity provider under its terms. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account where reasonable security controls have been provided.

5. Company Directory and Company Pages

Company pages may be submitted by companies or compiled by us from official websites, announcements, regulatory disclosures, public databases, press materials and other lawful public sources. Inclusion does not imply partnership, approval or endorsement. A company or authorised representative may contact service@energyplanet.global to claim, correct, supplement or request removal of a company page. We may request reasonable proof of identity and authority and balance verification, legal obligations, public interest and preservation of the news record.

6. User Content and Licence

You retain ownership of original submissions and other user content. To operate, display, promote and improve the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free and sublicensable licence, for the duration of applicable rights, to host, store, reproduce, format, edit, translate, adapt, publicly display, distribute, repost on social media and create technical-format versions. This licence does not transfer ownership. We will seek not to materially alter meaning when editing or translating text. You may request removal, but copies lawfully republished, archived, retained for disputes or legal duties, or stored by third parties may not be removed immediately. You warrant that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content, can explain its source, and that it does not infringe privacy, copyright, trade marks, trade secrets or other rights.

7. Content and Conduct Rules

We may review, restrict, label, correct, reject or remove content that violates these Terms, law or editorial standards, and may suspend or terminate related accounts.

• Do not publish unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexual, malicious or rights-infringing material;
• Do not impersonate persons or organisations or fabricate partnerships, certifications, data, quotations or project relationships;
• Do not upload malware, attack, interfere with, bypass security controls or scrape the Services at scale;
• Do not scrape, sell or use data to build a competing database without permission;
• Do not use the Services for spam or marketing without required consent.

8. Editorial Content, Sources and Corrections

ENERGY PLANET news, analysis, market data, rankings, forecasts and third-party materials are for general information and do not constitute investment, legal, engineering, safety or other professional advice. Sources may use different methodologies; users should verify primary materials and make their own assessment. To report factual, attribution, copyright or relationship errors, contact service@energyplanet.global with the page, issue and supporting material.

9. AI-Assisted Translation

We currently use AI only to assist with translation. AI translations may be inaccurate, incomplete or miss context and should be reviewed before publication, citation or decision-making. The feature must not be used to infringe rights, create misleading material or evade these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may connect to Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, Mailchimp and other platforms. They operate under their own terms and privacy notices; we do not control their availability, content or processing. Third-party sign-in does not mean that we receive or store your third-party password.

11. Events and Partners

Event pages will identify organisers, partners and registration requirements. Where clearly disclosed and consented to as required, we may provide necessary registration details to co-organisers, sponsors, speakers or service providers for event delivery, communication and authorised follow-up. You must follow venue rules and respect other participants.

12. Commercial Content and Future Paid Services

When enabled, advertising, sponsored or partner content will be clearly labelled "Sponsored", “Partner Content”, “Advertisement” or equivalent. Before any future paid membership, submission or service is sold, we will display pricing, taxes, renewal, cancellation and refund terms. Bank-transfer and invoice information will be processed only for transactions and legal duties.

13. Intellectual Property

Except for user content and identified third-party material, the site design, database structure, editorial content, marks, logos, software and other materials are owned by us or our licensors. They may not be copied, adapted, sold or extracted at scale without written permission. Fair quotation must attribute and link to the original page.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services and request account deletion. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access for unlawful conduct, infringement, security risks, fraud, prolonged inactivity or material breach. Where permitted, we will provide notice and a reasonable appeal route. Termination does not affect accrued rights, payment duties, content licences, or clauses intended to survive.

15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available.” We do not guarantee absolute accuracy, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or fitness for a specific commercial purpose. We are not responsible for third-party content, external sites, user conduct or decisions based on general industry information, except liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or loss of profit, opportunity, goodwill or data. No limitation applies to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection laws where you live, and disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts where the operator is domiciled. This does not remove rights available to EU, UK or other users under mandatory local law.

17. Changes, Severability and Contact

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the site, account notice or email with a new effective date. If a clause is invalid, the remainder continues in effect.
